It's time for down and dirty, traditional circle track racing once again at Smokey Harris Speedway, TONIGHT, and again next Saturday night, Sept 5th. Edge-of-your-seat, don't-blink-or-you'll-miss-it, dirt track excitement on the fastest, high-banked, 3/8th mile, clay oval legend of South Alabama, Smokey Harris Speedway! Powerful Dirt Late Models, Thrilling Open Wheel Modifieds, "The Wild Bunch" Vintage class, Hard-Chargin' Hobbies, Big Dog Bombers, Stormin' Stockers"(Thunder and Lightning), and always a crowd favorite, the Furious Four Bangers! The gates open at 3:00 PM, hot laps begin at 6:00 PM, with green flag racing starting at 7:00 PM. The weather is just right, the evenings are just a bit cooler, and the teams have called to say they are headed to Haleburg with their cars the next two Saturday nights. Don't miss the Braggin' Rights Grudge Race at intermission this Saturday night!
The Snack Shack is rockin' with Smokey's BBQ, big fat handmade hamburgers and cheeseburgers, hotdogs and sausagedogs with all the decorations, chicken sandwiches and chicken baskets that'll knock your beak off! Ice cold dranks, hot french fries, popcorn, candy, and a bunch more stuff that ain't no good for you. David will be there with hot green boiled peanuts and more, so come early and feed both your appetites with good food and great dirt track racing! Invite and friend.
